Summer sightseeing in Otaru

Otaru has developed as a herring fishing town since the 1860s. With the activation of economy and trade, financial institutions and trading companies lined up until the mid-1900s. It became a city that drove the Hokkaido economy as a city of finance and sales in Japan.
